It’s
finally feeling like fall here in Southern California. Clouds are rolling in, leaves are changing,
the air is crisp and I’m able to hide all my pumpkin indulging into oversize
sweaters…I love Fall. It also means
getting my comfy clothes on after work, crawling into bed to watch some sort of
seasonal movie, usually some B flick with zombies and sipping on cocoa, which
brings us back to why I have to wear oversize sweaters.
INGREDIENTS:
- 1-1/2c coconut milk or milk of choice (full fat or low fat)
- 1c water
- 1/2c cocoa powder, unsweetened
- 1/2c coconut sugar
- 2 Tbsp pumpkin pie spice
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Place milk and water in a sauce pan and cook until it begins to boil, keep the heat on low to prevent the liquid from boiling over
2. Add remaining ingredients to the milk and whisk together until smooth
3. Allow it to cool for a few minutes and sip!
