RULE #1 - DON’T PANIC IN A CRISIS SITUATION
RULE #2 - BE PREPARED (always have a PLAN B)
I find it best to always keep a PLAN B meal on hand incase there’s some last minute or unexpected event that prevents the Plan A meal from happening. Below is a list of items I ALWAYS have on hand incase of such an event.
FREEZER
- Chicken Nuggs
- Beef Bone Broth
- Beef Pattys or Meatballs
- 1 bag of Frozen Veggies
REFRIGERATOR
- Sauerkraut
- Slow Roasted Bacon (w/ 1-2lbs in the freezer)
- Eggs
PANTRY
- Raw Almonds
- Almond Meal or Coconut Flour
- Canned Lump Crab or Salmon
- Coconut Oil
- Coconut Milk
When shopping, I rework my budget if necessary to purchase organic veggies, free range eggs and grass fed beef. Depending on your area, you may find there isn’t a huge price difference and the quality and health benefits is well worth it.
PLAN B SAMPLE MEALS
- Bacon or Beef Pattys & Eggs
- Savory Veggie Pancake
- Chicken Nuggs or Meatballs & Veggies
- Beef Bone Broth & Meatballs
- Lump Crab or Salmon & Veggies (or salad if you have lettuce handy)
